On Friday, September 16, the BSHS “Pride of the Northside” Marching Band will perform at halftime of the BSHS/TCHS Football Game.
This game will also serve as our 8th grade band night. 8th Graders from Bryan Station Middle, Winburn, Leestown, and LTMS will be participating during the first half. Middle school students will dismiss to their parents around 8pm, right after halftime. Middle school parents will pick their child up from the band room.
Itinerary:
- 3:15 – students report to band room
- 3:30 – prep for dinner, assemble props, set up for rehearsal
- 3:45 – Rehearsal begins on practice field
- 4:30 – Take props and sound equipment to field
- 4:45 – Pizza with 8th grade band members
- 5:00 – Middle school students arrive
- 5:15 – Dress into uniform
- 5:30 – Rehearsal with 8th grade
- 6:00 – Parade to stadium
- 6:15 – Pregame/National Anthem
- 6:30 – Kickoff
- 7:30ish – Halftime
- 9:00ish – Dress Out, Dismiss
We will be in uniform. Students should wear their green band shirt. Shorts should be thin to fit under the uniform. Long black socks must be worn with their band shoes. Band shoes will be distributed after Thursday’s rehearsal.
