LexPhil Assistant Conductor joins BSHS Wind Ensemble for Artist Residency
BSHS and the Lexington Philharmonic are joining together this school year through a grant program. With this grant, LexPhil Assistant Conductor Damali Willingham will be visiting the BSHS Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Orchestra throughout the year for clinics and ensemble rehearsals. BSHS Bands @ Roots & Heritage Parade
On Saturday, September 12, the BSHS Pride of the Northside Marching Band performed for the Annual Lexington Roots and Heritage Parade. They performed selections from their halftime show along the route and at the battle of the bands in front of the Lyric Theatre.

Chamber Music Ensembles at Open House
Chamber music ensembles enjoyed providing music for the BSHS Open House. Catch them performing again this weekend at our Winter Market, as well as the marching band at the Lexington Christmas Parade.

On Wednesday, December 10th, the BSHS Bands will be performing at the 2025 StationARTS Gala. All band students will be performing. Concert begins at 6pm. Dinner provided at 5:00, 5:30 call time. Please wear all black. Students MUST sign up to eat dinner. Sign up here!
