  • Band Camp Dates – Updated 1/26
    June/July Marching Band Camp: Fall Marching Band Camp: Our previously schedule Symphonic Band Camp and Percussion Fundamentals camp will no longer take place. This change is due to a new professional development plan being implemented by FCPS that will require all teachers, including our band directors, to attend some sessions when we have typically held…
  • Chamber Ensembles Concert – 2/16
    On Thursday, February 16 the BSHS Bands will present our annual Chamber Ensembles Concert, featuring students performing solos and small ensembles. All band students are required to attend. The concert will begin at 6:00pm in the Auditorium. Students who are not performing will be completing a concert critique assignment on their Chromebooks during the performance.
  • Senior Night vs Madison Central – 10/21
    On Friday, October 21, the BSHS Band will perform as part of the Senior Night Football Game vs Madison Central. Game time is 7:30. Marching Band Seniors will be honored with their families during a ceremony before the game. Itinerary:

Uniforms need to be fitted and mended. Instrument carts and stages must be fabricated and maintained. Most importantly – the band needs to be fed! Find the way YOU can serve best and sign up to be a part of your student’s band life.
