Hello band families,
We have many band activities approaching in the final weeks of this semester! Please read the portions of this that are relevant to you.
For Everyone:
– Our next parent meeting is Dec 1st @ 6pm in the BSHS band room. We walk through Winter Market logistics and the busy December performance schedule at this meeting, so please plan to attend!
– Our Winter Market is on Dec 7th! This is one of our biggest fundraisers and we need volunteers for many aspects of this event. Please sign up at this link if you are able to help: Winter Market Volunteer Sign-Up
– District 7 Honor Band audition music can be found here: Honor Band Music
– The StationARTS Gala is on Dec 10th @ 6pm; all band students are performing. If you plan to eat the free dinner provided beforehand, please sign up here: Dinner Sign-up
For Marching Band:
– The Christmas Parade is on Dec 6th. Call time is 9am @ BSHS. We will be in full uniform.
For Jazz:
– We will be performing on the Leestown Middle School Christmas concert on Dec. 3rd at 6:30. It is up to you to arrange your own transportation for this, as we will not be taking a bus. More details will be forthcoming.
For Music Mentors:
– If you have talked with Ms. Johnston about helping out with out BSMS music mentors, further info and the sign up form are linked here: Band Mentors
For Commercial Music:
– If you want to participate in the after school commercial music ensemble, sign up here: Commercial Music. The first rehearsal is Dec 4th.
