The Bryan Station HS Bands will present several concerts during the spring semester.
The Chamber Ensembles Concert
- Thursday, February 15
- All students are eligible to perform a duet, trio, or other small (chamber) ensemble
- Students who wish to perform a solo must pass a screening audition with Mr. Payne and Mr. Smith
- Students who do not choose to perform are required to attend and will complete a concert review on their chromebook during the performance.
BSHS Instrumental Music Festival
- Thursday, March 7
- All band members perform as part of the concert or symphonic band
- Concert begins at 6pm, 5:30 call time, wear all black
KMEA District Assessment for Concert Band
- Wednesday, March 20 at Scott County High School
- 9:45am Depart BSHS via school bus
- 10:30 Warm Up
- 11:00 Performance
- 11:30 Clinic
- 12:30 Arrive at BSHS, eat
- Wear all black.
KMEA District Assessment for Symphonic Band
- Tuesday, March 26 at the EKU Center for the Arts
- We will carpool from BSHS at 5:45pm
- Perform at 7:30, Clinic at 8, return to BSHS by 9:15ish
- Students wear all black with their black jacket
UK Windfest (Symphonic Band Only)
- Saturday, April 13
- 1pm – BSHS Band Hall open for instrument pick up, if needed
- 2pm – Meet at UK, Watch Scott County MS
- 2:30 – Warm Up
- 3:00 – Performance
- 3:30 – Clinic with Dr. Randall Coleman from UT Chattanooga
- 4:00 – Watch YPAS Wind Ensemble
- 4:30 – Dismiss from UK
- Wear all black, including jacket
- Program: Fanfare (Yagisawa), Inglesina (Della Cese), Bookmarks Mvt 5 (Giroux), Nabucco (Verdi)

- 6:00 call time, 6:30 concert
KMEA State Band Festival (Symphonic Band Only)
- Monday, May 6 at Louisville Male High School
- Afternoon/evening, leaving AFTER morning AP tests
